Citizens Advice Torridge, North, Mid & West Devon
Welcome to our new website!
We are Citizens Advice Torridge, North, Mid and West Devon, your local free advice and information service! We are here to help you to understand your rights and responsibilities, help you find a way forward and campaign for change on the issues that matter most.
We are a local charity, staffed predominantly by volunteers and available to everyone across our four districts.
During the pandemic, we had to change the way we worked, but we are still very much here to help, no matter who you are and no matter what your problem. Please see our ‘Get Advice’ tab for ways to contact us and where to find us.
If you want to know more about how you can support us as a charity or how to get involved please see our ‘Support Us’ and ‘Paid Opportunities and Volunteer Opportunities’ pages.

Know where you are with your power.
Smart meters are the new generation of gas and electricity meters being rolled out across Great Britain. They show you how much energy you are using in pounds and pence.
A smart meter can help us to identify situations where we’re using a lot of energy and might want to make changes to this. If you use the information shown on your in-home display to reduce your energy use, you could cut costs and become more energy efficient.
A smart meter helps you take control of your energy use, by showing you exactly what you are spending in pounds and pence; no more estimated bills or supplying meter readings.
